The Hub on Causeway The project revitalized offices, hotels, retail and entertainment venues at Boston’s North Station. Its residential component, Hub50House, has placed 440 luxury apartments right in the middle of the action.

Developped by BXP and designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, residences at 50 Causeway St. officially opened in November 2019. The 38-story tower offers stunning water and skyline views in all directions. Floor plans range from studios to three-bedroom apartments, with rents starting at $2,725 for a studio, $3,690 for a one-bedroom, $4,395 for a two-bedroom and $7,990 for a three-bedroom.

Each residence features 9-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and modern finishes. The kitchens offer stainless steel appliances, white Italian cabinets and matching Silestone countertops. Some units come with balconies, terraces, and double sink bathrooms. Residences also include features such as an in-unit laundry facility, Nest thermostats, keyless remote entries, and customizable closet system design.

Hub50House offers a plethora of building amenities, including a coffee bar, business center, and games and media room. The fitness center — in addition to traditional gym equipment — is equipped with Peloton bikes, a TRX system, and studios where residents have access to free fitness classes.

Perched above the building’s retail level is the “woof deck”, an all-weather dog park. The space includes a lawn and play area for the pups, as well as an indoor grooming station, pet spa, and pet lounge with Wi-Fi and TVs for human enjoyment. The “Outdoor Skyline” deck houses communal grilling areas, private grilling pods, communal dining areas, a fire pit, lounge seating and a greenway with views of downtown, the harbor and the islands. But it’s hard to beat the view at “Skypool,” a full 38 stories on the roof of the building.
